Boston Female Anti-slavery Society letterbook, 1834-1838.

Letterbook kept by the Boston Female Anti-slavery Society containing copies of incoming and outgoing letters, 1834-38. Includes correspondence with other female anti-slavery societies in Amesbury Mills, Concord, Reading, and Uxbridge, Mass., Brooklyn, New York, Putnam, Ohio, and London, England; and individual abolitionists including William Lloyd Garrison. Most of the outgoing letters were written by secretary Anne Warren Weston.
